The Profile:

The primary goal of the Sales Manager is to represent the business in front of customers / potential customers and carry out conceptual sales. In order to carry out your job effectively you must have a background in steel structural designs, particularly in civil and have exceptional presentation and negotiation skills

Conduct site visits and be up to date with upcoming construction projects/ well versed with existing factories in East & West Africa

Carry out customer presentations and negotiate deals

You will  manage sizeable multi discipline projects ensuring all designs produced by different disciplines are well coordinated
May act in an advisory capacity to senior management personnel on engineering related matters

Background and Experience:

Ideally have 5+ years’ experience in steel sales with a strong techno-commercial background

Experience in construction material sales , managing large accounts
Must be able to prepare and deliver presentations to Clients
Must have the ability to present and defend designs in front of Clients and obtain approvals

Must have experience in covering East and West Africa

Ability to work independently without supervision

A Bachelor’s Degree or background in civil
