Our client are a leading IT services and solutions delivery firm with offices in the GCC. They are urgently seeking a Project Manager with a solid background in IT project Management, vendor management and new business development.

Responsibilities & Skills:

The Project Manager will take responsibility for leading and successful roll out of IT projects

Define the project requirements, ensuring that the requirements catalogue traceability matrix is complete

Manage the agreement process of the project requirements and establishing and reporting project Key Performance Indicators to the management through Highlight Reports and stage assessments

Manage business and project risks and produces an effective plan and risk assessment so that timescales and project costs are understood and underwritten by all by the appropriate parties

Service Delivery – Provide leadership for projects and change management incl. new implementations and share best practices.· Strategic planning

Procurement – Participate in vendor and site strategy definition, business requirement scoping, location assessments, RFP administration, pricing and contract negotiation and contract administration

Risk and Control – Ensure compliance with standards related to Security and Infrastructure, Legal, Tax, Financial Invoicing, Code of Conduct and develop robust Business Continuity Plans.

Stakeholder Management – Build and manage strong, trusted vendor and stakeholder relationships across different levels of the organization

Ensuring that the milestone achievements are signed by the customer and relevant invoices are raised.

Deliver the project on time, to budget and appropriate quality

Qualifications & Required Experience

The ideal candidate must have demonstrated experience in working within the knowledge management , learning platforms, Library and archiving solutions sector.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS· A sincere passion and obsession for customers and delivery of excellent solutions ·

Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or related discipline

10+ years of relevant experience in IT project management with experience in e-learning /knowledge management solutions, digital transformation solutions, library management or solutions catering to the education sector.

Your must have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal in English language

Strong technical and analytical aptitude

Ability to think both strategically and tactically with strong attention to detail

Demonstrated project management success

Expert skills in Microsoft Excel and Word

A willingness to roll up sleeves to get it done· Significant travel required (up to 30%)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS· MBA or Advanced Degree· COPC Coordinator Certification· Lean/Six Sigma experience
