Job Summary
The Digital Product Manager is expected to help the business in executing digital transformation initiatives aiming to address different touchpoints with customers.
The incumbent will champion the creation of a seamless digital customer journey that caters for customers’ requirements and pain points through building an in-depth understanding of such aspects in collaboration with the different business units/functions and front-line teams within the company as well as translating the needs of the customer into online business opportunities.
Roles & Responsibilities
Participate in driving product strategies and long-term vision to build best in class digital products
Identify innovative digital solutions for products, services, and processes, in order to improve the customer journey as well as internal efficiency
Conduct user research and usability studies, collaborating with designers, developers, and research teams from end to end of the process.
Participate in market research, validation, and whitespace analysis to identify new opportunities for new and existing features and functionalities
Develop and implement data pipelines that extract, transform, and load data into an information product
Work on managing, storing, processing and analyzing large data sets to identify business opportunities/efficiencies
Evaluate, analyze, and understand the voice of the customer through a variety of data sources
Manage the product roadmap and backlog for all digital products
Oversee and manage lead requirements discovery, solution design, user story writing, feature development, and user acceptance testing
Partner with the operational teams to identify key capabilities needed as well as identifying potential issues
Partner with cross functional teams regularly to ensure alignment on feature development and prioritization
Monitor and evaluate product performance to ensure constant product iteration and improvements
Participate in identifying and evaluating qualified vendors responsible for the development of envisaged digital solutions as well as managing and overseeing the respective projects from scoping to delivery.
Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure that all the considerations of the digital transformation are consulted on and implemented effectively.
Keep abreast with new digital and AI tools that can support, enhance, and improve the company’s solutions.
Qualifications:
Must have at least 5 -10 years of experience in Digital Product Management
Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other IT related field
Track record of working on well-known customer facing applications
Other Requirements:
Customer-first mindset.
Solid understanding of back-end and front-end programming languages.
Ability to develop data pipelines that can be used to track, analyze, and improve digital products
analytical, organizational, and communication skill
Project Management skills
Usability and customer-focused design experience a plus
