Objective:
In the effort to assist our prestigious client , we are recruiting a General Manager – Sales for their business development and to manage their retail expansion project in KSA.
Job Profile:
You will be responsible for the preparation of annual brand budgets including sales, margin, volume, retail & wholesales channels, e-commerce etc.
Oversee all aspects of the skin care and cosmetic product business including strategic planning and execution of the growth and expansion in Saudi
Overall management of the current retail stores project in Saudi Arabia and other surrounding regions
Responsible for the achievement of operational and financial results – both top (revenue) and bottom (profitability) lines
Develop systems, policies and procedures to enhance productivity, cost effectiveness and efficiency
Focal point of contact for the brand principal, including regular travel to Gulf countries as required
Providing leadership and motivation to your team and develop growth strategy across Saudi
Good understanding of the country’s regulations and industry practice in terms of product certifications, imports and exports, tariffs and taxes
Be involved in the recruitment, appraisal process, mentoring and performance management of your team
Through the organic growth identify and develop key staff into succession planning
Requirements :
Minimum Bachelor Degree in Business / Marketing or related disciplines
20 years of relevant working experiences within the Beauty FMCG (cosmetics and skin care) and/or pharmaceutical industry
Minimum of 5 years recent senior experience in General Management of a RETAIL & WHOLESALE DISTRIBUTION channel of consumer goods i.e. COSMETICS, FRAGRANCE, SKIN CARE PRODUCTS
Preferably with a track record of developing new overseas markets and building up a brand from scratch
Strong financial management experience ability to develop and achieve budgets & targets
Strong business acumen/ P&L management
Excellent people skills, strong leadership qualities and a positive “can do” attitude
Strong relationship building skills with customers & suppliers
A good understanding of the retail or wholesale distribution channel is essential
Must be fluent in English and Arabic
Mature and proactive, hands-on personality with strong interpersonal skills
Excellent leadership, negotiation and problem solving skills
Based in Saudi Arabia or willing to be based in Saudi with the potential to travel frequently within KSA to develop and increase market share
