Senior Pre-sales Consultant – Compliance Solutions 712 views

Through effective written, verbal, and presentation abilities, the presales consultant will provide technical consultation, pre-sales activities, and impart industry, technical, and product knowledge to customers. The chosen applicant will support Business Development Managers at customer meetings and assist with all phases of technical account planning. Your duties will involve creating official written sales proposals with the help of the sales team and developing the presentation and differentiation skills for product offers.

The ideal applicant for this position would participate in each stage of the sales process in order to advance prospects toward a sale. A presales consultant works closely with prospective customers to make sure they fully comprehend the services and/or goods offered. A candidate who possesses both the necessary technical know-how and the business understanding to grasp its applications and advantages and to offer insight and feedback at each stage.

 

Role:

Offer the sales team technical pre-sales assistance or consulting.

Help the sales team with customer presentations and pre-sales demonstrations.

Communicate technical information to managerial and technical audiences at various levels.

Assist in the creation of sales presentations and demos.

Work with the sales team to develop technical responses to information requests and request for proposal requests.

Take part in meetings with customers, product management, and other stakeholders to define needs and strive toward the best possible functional solution.

Assist sales in showing clients how the company’s solutions already address the needs, features, and functionalities of the consumers.

Work with sales to determine any extra needs, features, and functionalities that customers may have

something might need to be altered.

Convert extra requirements into functional specs and designs.

Compile and approve the client’s technical requirements (scope of work).

Use technical analysis to provide solutions based on the commercial requirements of clients.

Explain the solution architecture to the project teams, customers, and outside stakeholders.

Transfer solutions to project teams for execution and offer assistance to ensure that suggested solutions are successfully implemented.

Pay attention to market trends (from consumers, rivals, or regulatory agencies) and translate them into specifications for product features.

Requirements

A degree in computer science, information systems, or a related engineering subject, or an equivalent international technical certification.

Minimum of five years’ experience in the field; technical background; preferably, previous experience as a technical support or implementation engineer or technical consultant.

Financial software and payment knowledge

Understanding of  Sanction Screening, AML, payment solutions, financial software, or compliance.

Professional experience working for IT/consulting firms that work with financial institutions, financial applications companies, and financial institutions.

Sales and presales experience is required.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Effective communication and teamwork abilities
